hello, i don’t think people read this blog much, but i’d like to say that i’ll continue posting some stuff as soon as i have some free time to do so. i’ve been up and about taking some pictures. some with ky and lanatir , some whilst i was out with a colleague of mine and some on my own at home. venturing into digital photography is something really new to me, for previously i’ve only had chances shooting with a yashica and a zenit film slr, and some other point and shoot digital cameras. i suppose i’d start posting pictures here when i can, and hopefully by the time of my next post, i’d be posting from a url with my own namesake on it. its not that i’m taking blogging serious or anything. i just would like to own a piece of cyber real estate which bears my name.

anyway, i don’t really have much to write at this moment, except to express my worries about the huge workload i have at the office, but i think what i’m distracted most by is the excited feeling i’m getting from my baby steps in to the world of photography. and yes.. i don’t know nuts yet, and probably will never know enough. after all, the more you know, the more you realize there’s more to learn about. the journey begins…

the following story involves alcohol… girls from china …. a sturdy pole… and a nissan murano.

imaginative minds could definitely concoct a steamy and saucy story involving the above key phrases, but not me. i will speak of the events that took place on that tuesday/wednesday night.

i had just left ky’s place that evening, and i was heading home. and lately a bunch of ex classmates from high school have been hanging out together on a regular basis since most of them were back for holidays. so i got home at about 9 pm and i got a call from a my ex classmate Kevin (should be a pilot in a couple of months.. and ladies, he’s definitely a looker..) i agreed to pick him up at 10pm to go out for a drink and later on have a game of Risk (yes we still play board games even though we’re like 25 but i think it’s pretty fun.. and yes i might come off as a total geek/loser for saying that)…anyway, 10pm came and i text-ed Kevin that i’ll be 10 minutes late cause i was gonna have some food first (but in actual fact, i was lazing on bed and almost fell asleep). and about 10.10pm i got a reply, dude come not got some ‘happening’ accident in front of my house, police all coming now..

so on i rushed there, and this is what i saw.

i was totally amused by what i saw. The pole was totally detached from its footing. the base has shattered and was not even held down by anything. is the car were to be moved the whole pole would just fall.

anyway, to make a long story short, what we found out later was the the driver and passengers were both from china, i believe they were escorts of some sort, thought the originally claimed that they were air stewardesses ( and no..i didn’t find them attractive one bit..) they were drunk when they got into the accident. but check out this next picture..

The car didn’t even have a DENT… well maybe a tiny one.. BUT MAN it looked like it had such a MINOR accident. everyone at the scene were commenting how their next car would be a murano, coz its frigging solid..

so, after the whole excitement died down, i go to thinking.. if i were to be on time to my friends house to pick him up. i would have been there to see it, or if i were to be on time, my car would have been that electricity pole. i don’t think my tin can of a car can stand up to a murano. i could have been injured for gods sake!

the moral of the story is,

*buy a murano, if you’re a bad driver… at least it saves you on expansive fix ups

*be lazy if you feel like it.. i felt lazy and lazed on bed and was late.. hence i avoided an accident.. haha.

hello people !

its 0940 on the first day of january, and no i’m not up early.. its just that i haven’t slept!! so what did i do last night? well, i promised my high school classmate that i’de be going over to his place for his graduation/new years makan at his place. after all his home is only like few hundred meters away from mine. so i went. oh! oh! i got a new camera still trying to use it la actually.

Anyway theres three fellas, arvind, ashwin and priya, i’ve known them since high school. they’re like a bunch of wackos, they’re 3 out of 5 of my usual crew to go gila with. thankfully, i made it out of the makan last night without doing tooooo much damage to my liver .. heh..
